I'm originally from Colombia, S. America and have been in USA for almost 38 years. English is mandatory in Colombia from middle school thru college, so, when I first arrived in the USA, although I could only speak little English, my writing and grammar were very good. Due to my jobs as an individual life, individual medical, and group life and medical underwriter and senior underwriter, my avid love for reading and my being a news and news comentary junky, I have a full command of the English language.

I also took Medical Terminology, both as a class and as an underwriter.

1. wrote, edited and formatted our Group Life Insurance manual in the last year, as an example of my writing abilities.

2. Writing quotes, renewal and miscellaneous letters to customers.

3. Approving of legal plan documents containing medical and employee benefits, as well as federal and states laws.
