About me
University of Warsaw graduate, MA in English philology. I wrote my MA thesis on similarities between seemingly disparate translations of Shakespeare into Polish from 19th and 20th centuries. I have a solid theoretical background in the theory of translation.

I started translating several years ago as a student and briefly did it full-time after studies before I joined Electronic Arts, the biggest video game producer in the world, as a translation coordinator for almost 3 years. I did pretty well in this very demanding working environment (tight deadlines, immense know-how involved). I still translated (for EA whenever necessary and for a few of my regular contacts as well) and did lots of proofreading of software translations. Now the time has come for me to go on my own again.

I'm excellent in formal writing, fluent in academic style, I have a linguistic background and extensive expertise in software translations. As a car and sports freak I'm knowledgeable in these two fields as well. Anybody for a jogo of capoeira? Maybe a match of football? Nothing's better for making your mind fresh and clear than some physical exercise.

Cheers!
