Born in 1982, educated in Italy and based in Poland. I have been a full-time freelancer for the last five years, personally translating and proofreading over 5 million words of text and interpreting hundreds of hours of face-to-face meetings and conferences. Leopoldo Costa Prize award by the European Commission in 2006.

TRANSLATION (mainly EN,FR, PL>IT)

1,000 words/day. I use Wordfast Software with MS Office 2010. I am also registered as a sworn translator at the Italian court of Aosta.

2003- translation of the football guide Portsmouth FC
2007- translation into Italian of the website hostel.pl

2007- translation of a scientific paper concerning the Massacre of Serbs in the former Jugoslavia, written by the Professor Marek Waldenberg, fellow at the department of history at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow.

2008-right now 3 million words translated + 2 million proofread (EN>IT, FR>IT) for Transperfect Translations, projects mainly related to: legal material (agreements, claim forms, Court judgements), life science (clinical trials), anti-corruption policies, finance (investment, market shares).

2008-right now 500 thousand words translated + 100 thousand proofread (PL>IT) for a number of Polish agencies. Projects included: tourism (Skyscanner, European cycling scheme, touristic guides), sport (Mrs. Sporty), technical material (building standards, fridge specifications, ventilation mechanism) and company brochures.

Summer 2010- Project manager at Transperfect office in Barcelona. Quality check before delivery to the final client, proofreading EN>IT of Adidas texts (advertising, clothes description, marketing campaign), administrative work.

2010-2011 translation of two scientific papers concerning Italian migrants in Poland and The process of learning a foreign language for bilingual children, written by Mrs. Agnieszka Hennel-Brzozowska, academic colleague at Pedagogical University in Crakow.
