HISTÓRIA
O facto da semana (do ano, no mínimo) foi a eleição de Barack Obama para a presidência dos Estados Unidos.
A importância da eleição decorre do significado e perspectivas que ela encerra.
Significado pela questão rácica, que nunca deixou de estar presente desde a escolha interna do Partido Democrata, sobretudo. Diz-se que é o primeiro presidente negro do país, provando-se que a cor da pele importa mais a todos os não racistas do que eles admitem. Em bom rigor Obama é tão negro quanto branco – é mestiço, mas estão a apagar-lhe os genes maternos.
Percebe-se assim como esse problema continua mal resolvido entre alguns.
Não terá sido por isso, no entanto, que Obama foi eleito. Apenas uma pequena minoria terá votado nele por ter sangue negro. A maioria votou, inequivocamente, na sua mensagem, que é essencialmente de mudança.
Para se saber quão longe onde essas mudanças irão vai ser preciso esperar por um abrandamento da crise que se abateu sobre a economia (sobretudo) ocidental e, mais ainda, por um eventual segundo mandato.
Apesar das limitações que estes dois factores vão impor ao novo poder nos Estados Unidos há coisas que já mudaram – e ainda falta mais de um mês para que Obama se mude para a Casa Branca.

HISTORY
The fact of the week (and the fact of the year at least) was the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States.
The importance of his election comes from the significance and perspectives brought about by the election itself.
It is significant because the race factor has always been present, especially after the internal elections within the Democratic Party. It’s been said that he is the first black President of the country, proving that the colour of the skin is more important to all those non-racists than they actually admit. In true reality, Obama is as white as he is black - he is of mixed race, but his maternal genes are showing up.
That being so it is understandable how this problem continues not to sit easy with some people.
But that wasn’t the reason why he’s been elected. A mere minority voted for him because of his black roots. The majority voted unequivocally for his message, essentially calling for change.
To know how far these changes might go, we will need to wait for a slowing down of the crisis which has engulfed (especially) the western economy and, even more, for his eventual second term in office.
Despite the limitations which these two factors will impose on the new power in the United States, there are things which have changed already - and Obama is only one month away from moving into the White House.

Entre:
- AAA, de nacionalidade portuguesa, e sua mulher BBB, de nacionalidade chinesa, casados no regime de comunhão de adquiridos, titulares dos Bilhetes de Identidade de Residentes de Macau nº 9/999/9 emitido em 2 de Janeiro de 2002 e nº 8/8888/8, emitido em 28 de Setembro de 1999, respectivamente, ambos pelos Serviços de Identificação de Macau, residentes na Avª. do Dr. Francisco Vieira Machado, nºs Х a Х, ХХº andar “Q”, em Macau, na qualidade de primeiros outorgantes e promitentes-compradores; e
- DDD, de nacionalidade suíça, solteira, titular do Bilhete de Identidade de Residente de Macau nº 333(3) emitido em 13-12-2001 pela Direcção dos Serviços de Identificação de Macau, e
- EEE, de nacionalidade portuguesa, divorciado, titular do Bilhete de Identidade de Residente de Macau nº 6/666/6 emitido em 7/02/2004 pela Direcção dos Serviços de Identificação de Macau, ambos com domicílio na Avª. do Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues, nº ХХ, edifício “Centro Comercial First International”, Хº andar, em Macau, na qualidade de segundos outorgantes e promitentes-compradores, é celebrado o presente contrato-promessa de compra e venda que se regerá pelas disposições constantes das cláusulas seguintes:

Parágrafo único: os segundos outorgantes notificarão, por carta registada a enviar para (indicar endereço), e com uma antecedência não inferior a 7 (sete) dias, os primeiros outorgantes, da data, hora e local da realização da escritura de compra e venda.
4 - A título de sinal e de princípio de pagamento os segundos outorgantes receberam nesta data, dos primeiros outorgantes, a quantia de MOP$16.500,00 (dezasseis mil e quinhentas patacas), quantia de que conferem a competente quitação.
5 - O remanescente do preço, no valor de MOP$1.733.800,00 (um milhão setecentas e trinta e oito mil e quinhentas patacas), será pago na data da outorga da escritura de compra e venda.
6 - No omisso, este contrato reger-se-á pelas disposições legais vigentes em Macau à data da sua celebração.
7 - A resolução das dúvidas e questões decorrentes da interpretação e aplicação do presente contrato, que não puderem ser objecto de acordo entre os outorgantes, serão dirimidas, em regime de exclusividade, pelos Tribunais da Região Administrativa Especial de Macau.

（三）雙方同意簽訂本合約後30（三十）日內簽訂買賣契約。
獨一條：乙方提前最少7（柒）日，以掛號信方式通知甲方（地址：ｘｘｘ）簽訂買賣契約日期、時間及地點。
（四）簽立本約時甲方收到乙方之付款金額MOP$16,500.00（澳門幣壹萬陸仟伍佰元整）作為定金及首期付款。甲方在此聲明已收到以上付款。
（五）乙方承諾將樓價餘額MOP$1,733,800.00 （澳門幣壹佰柒拾叁萬叁仟捌佰元整）於簽訂買賣契約日期付清給于甲方。
（六）本約未訂明事項概依簽約日之澳門現行法律辦理。
