| Translation - English One of the most important steps aiming at supporting and promoting the role of the Bahraini woman was the establishment of the Supreme Council for Women in 2001, under the presidency of Her Highness Sheikha Sabika bint Ibrahim Alkhalifa spouse of His Royal Majesty the King. To assure the accentuation of the role of this council, Mrs. Lulwa Al Awadhi was appointed Secretary General of the council with ministerial rank. The major jurisdictions of the council comprise working out policies, plans and programs to promote and sustain the Bahraini woman.
Moreover, The Economic Development Council in Bahrain co-works with the different ministries and governmental bodies to find ways to promote the Bahraini woman and adopt policities that contribute to the provision of facilities and incentives to encourage her to invest in new economic areas and activities and to surmount the difficulties facing the female investor which impede her participation in the process of overall economic development in addition to the exchange of information, statistics , expertise, studies and researches it conducts within the scope of the economic situation of women. It also organizes events, conferences, seminars, workshops, group discussions, forums, exhibitions and other events related to the development and promotion of women's economic participation.
Besides, the Supreme Council for Women works within the framework of its strategy to enable women develop economic incubators and business centers and create funds and exclusive funds for female entrepreneurs. The council also offers advisory services to make women turn to self-employment and take advantage of its benefits. It enhances women's professional skills to provide a suitable environment that encourages them to engage in the economic sector and helps them establish small and medium private projects in order to promote their investments to contribute to the creation of more job opportunities and achieve efficient participation in the process of social and economic development in the country in general.
It is expected that the businesswomen's incubator center will create an infrastructure to develop women economically by encouraging them to set up small and medium projects in industry and service areas in Bahrain , improving the work performance efficiency in current small and medium businesses, increasing the spirit of innovation and creativity among female entrepreneurs and giving birth to a solid bond between big industrial enterprises and small projects and supporting new projects to grow at a rapid pace as well as the creation of more job opportunities for Bahraini women.

I was educated in Morocco. I'm a B.A. holder - English linguistics (sociology of education). I have been teaching English as a foreign language, in Morocco, at a senior high school since 1998 after I had held my Certificate in TEFL from ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure de Rabat 1997-1998). I studied translation for one year (3 hours per week) during my 3rd year at university (1995-1996). I have had the chance to attend various seminars, forums and workshops about TEFL, some of which are online. I did also attend a very insightful and thought-provoking workshop (TTW: Train the Trainer Workshop organized by UMEP). Also, successfully completed an advanced computer course "Le programme “Intel World Ahead” sponsored by Intel" in April / May 2007 in CPR Taza – Morocco, and it added a lot to my prior computing knowledge. I have also had the privilege to teach English to native speakers of Spanish in Peru in 2007 as a volunteer. It was a rich experience as I was fully immersed in a Latino/Spanish culture. In 2008, I was trained to administer Oral Exams for Cambridge (KET/PET/FCE) - a thourough training that was carried out by Felicity Greenlaw Weber from the British Council in Morocco.
I'm a polyglot: speaking Berber, Arabic, French, English and Spanish. This versatile linguistic background enhances my communication abilities and promotes my predisposition to negotiate with different cultures. My knowledge of these languages has helped me a great deal translate different texts/documents from and into different languages. I am result-oriented, practical and have tremendous passion for translation and reviewing.
More significantly, I should state that I work within the spirit of a team, for "Deux têtes valent mieux qu'une seule." (Two heads are better than one), if not many. I work with a few colleagues from Peru and Morocco, whom I seize the occasion to thank amply. We are all professionals and we can work under pressure, negotiate meanings and ideas and we always reach, at the end, a sort of scientific consensus. We always tend to work from different perspectives to avoid amalgams and come out with a very qualitative and authoritative work, hopefully. Highly motivated, efficient and punctual freelance translators with many years of experience and intimate knowledge of Arabic, French, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil) and English languages/cultures, we offer our clients an immediate feedback.
