About me

I studied Tourism in Valencia (Spain) as I loved travelling and also speaking languages. In 1996 I decided to move to England, Bristol, and start a new life. I worked as a Head Receptionist in a hotel and 2 years later as a Civil Servant for the JobCentre Plus organisation (in the European Employment department). I used to do all the translations and interpreting in English-Spanish, as well as provide support and assistance to over 300 Spanish customers: CVs, letters, forms, employment related docs, etc. At this time, I also worked for the Bristol City Council and other agencies as a freelance translator. I mainly translated legal documents, certificates, marketing and social leaflets and all sorts of official documents. I am currently working in Madrid as a Head of the Marketing Department in a British construction company and also translating all the documents: magazines, leaflets, letters, emails, presentations, etc.
I am also currently working for a publishing company translated children books from English into Spanish.
I have crossed the USA from coast to coast, and travelled all around Europe and part of Sri Lanka.... English helps!!!!

I am flexible about rates. If I enjoy the work, I don´t mind applying a lower rate. I normally charge 0,12 euros per 1000 words, but it is negotiable.

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
