Since 2007 I've translated almost 3 million words.
• I translate from French, Spanish and Catalan into English, my mother tongue.
• I studied French at university (1978-1982) and lived in Barcelona for 7 years (2002-2009).
• My specialist areas are: business, marketing, human resources, contracts, IT/systems, renewable energy, property and tourism.
• My PC and IT facilities are fully up-to-date: 24-hour broadband, full Kaspersky Internet Security, back-up systems, PDF converter, Wordfast Classic and Wordfast Pro (both of which interface with Trados TMX).
• Before becoming a translator in 2005, I worked for 20 years in sales, marketing and business management in London and Barcelona.
