Die Bietstruktur legt fest, wie viel ein Spieler wann in einer Bietrunde setzen darf. Für unser Spiel interessant und im Online-Poker am häufigsten vertreten sind hierbei zwei Arten von Bietstruktur:
• No-Limit
Ein Spieler kann jederzeit so viel setzen oder um so viel erhöhen, wie er will bzw. wie er an Chips oder Geld am Tisch zur Verfügung hat.
• Fixed Limit
Ein Spieler kann jeweils nur einen festgelegten Betrag setzen oder um diesen erhöhen. In den ersten beiden Bietrunden vor dem Flop und nach dem Austeilen des Flops entspricht der Betrag der Höhe des Big Blinds. Am Turn und am River verdoppelt sich dieser Betrag, daher unterscheidet man diese beiden Bietgrößen im Englischen auch in Small Bet und Big Bet, also kleiner Einsatz und großer Einsatz.

Un jucător poate întotdeauna să parieze sau să facă raise cu cât vrea, respectiv cu câţi bani sau cu câte jetoane are la dispoziţie la masă.

Un jucător poate de fiecare dată să facă raise sau să parieze numai o anumită sumă. În runda de pariere preflop şi cea de pe Flop, suma respectivă este egală cu un Big Blind. Pe Turn şi pe River această sumă se dublează; în engleză aceste două valori ale pariului sunt denumite Small Bet şi Big Bet, adică pariu mic şi pariu mare.
