Controle en voorbehandeling van de ondervloer
Bij tapijt toepassingen vraagt de ondervloer altijd bijzondere aandacht. Deze vormt letterlijk de basis waarop het tapijt zijn kwaliteiten en eigenschappen aan de dag moet leggen.
Aspecten zoals vochtigheid, egaliteit en drukvastheid zijn daarbij van het grootste belang.
Voordat Enia tapijt op de ondervloer kan worden aangebracht, dient men zich zorgvuldig op de hoogte te stellen van de conditie en samenstelling van de ondervloer.
De conditie waarin de vloer dient te verkeren
De ondervloer dient blijvend droog te zijn. Gemeten met de CM vochtmeter dient het vochtigheidspercentage van de ondervloer aan onderstaande normen te voldoen:
Type ondervloer waardering
Anhydriet vloer maximaal 1,0 %
Zand/cement vloer maximaal 4,5 %
De ondervloer dient druk- en trekvast te zijn.
De ondervloer dient vlak te zijn. Zonodig bij oneffenheden de ondervloer zorgvuldig schuren/borstelen. Bij anhydriet vloeren het calciumcarbonaat laagje wegschuren, want dit zorgt voor een vertraagd droog proces, tevens een slechte hechting met de ondervloer. Daarna ondervloer voorstrijken en eventueel egaliseren.
De ondervloer dient vet- en stofvrij te zijn. Zonodig ondervloer ontvetten, stofvrij maken met behulp van een industriestofzuiger. Zonodig eerst voorstrijken.
De ondervloer dient geen losse plekken te vertonen. Losse plekken verwijderen en repareren met een reparatiemortel.
In geval van een houten ondervloer is een juiste voorbehandeling van de vloer zeer essentieel. Afhankelijk van de te beleggen ruimte dient de houten vloer van een juiste afwerklaag te worden voorzien, mede gelet op de vormvastheid en de oudheid van de vloer.
Het verdient aanbeveling hierover te plegen met de adviseurs van Enia Carpets.
Controle materiaal
Elke order wordt door Enia Carpets met de grootste zorgvuldigheid behandeld. De controle gebeurt echter altijd onder andere omstandigheden dan die in de te beleggen ruimte. Het is in uw eigen belang zelf een controle uit te voeren voordat u tot verwerking van het tapijt overgaat.
Let op of de kwaliteit, kleur lengte, dessin, etc. precies overeenstemt met uw bestelling.
Reclameer beslist voor u met het versnijden of de verwerking begint. Alleen dan kunnen eventuele klachten nog in behandeling worden genomen.
Banenplan
Bij de verwerking van het tapijt dient u altijd u altijd rekening te houden met de rolvolgorde. Tevens dienst dient u bij het indelen rekening te houden met eventuele verschillende verfbaden. Dit alles kan in overleg met uw projectadviseur.

Inspection and preparation of the sub-floor
In the case of carpet applications the sub-floor always demands special attention. This literally constitutes the basis on which the carpet must reveal its qualities and characteristics.
In this respect aspects such as humidity, evenness and pressure-resistance are of the greatest importance.
Before Enia carpet can be fitted on the sub-floor, you must get a full picture of the condition and composition of the sub-floor.
The condition which the floor must be in
The sub-floor has to be permanently dry. Measured using the CM hygrometer the humidity level of the sub-floor must meet the standards given below:
Type of sub-floor assessment
Anhydrite floor maximally 1.0 %
Sand/cement floor maximally 4.5 %
The sub-floor must be pressure and tension proof.
The sub-floor must be even. If necessary, in case of uneven areas, carefully scour/brush the sub-floor. In the case of anhydrite floors scrub away the calcium carbonate layer, for this causes a delayed drying process as well as bad cohesion with the sub-floor. After that pre-brush and if necessary level the sub-floor.
The sub-floor must be free from grease and dust. If necessary de-grease the sub-floor, make dust-free with the help of an industrial vacuum cleaner. If necessary first pre-brush.
The sub-floor must not show any loose areas. Remove loose areas and repair with a sealing mortar.
In case of a wooden sub-floor a correct preparation of the floor is absolutely essential. Depending on the space to be covered, the wooden floor must be provided with an appropriate topping, also taking into account the floor’s form-retention and age.

Inspection material
Enia Carpets handles every order with the greatest care. However, the inspection is always carried out under circumstances that are different from those in the space to be covered. It is in your own interest to carry out an inspection yourself before you proceed to processing the carpet.
Notice whether the quality, colour, length, design, etc. exactly conform to your order.
Definitely complain before you start the cutting up or the processing. Only then can possible complaints be taken into consideration.
Strip plan
When processing the carpet you must always take the roll sequence into account. When arranging the strips you must also pay attention to possible varying dye baths. This can all be done in consultation with your project advisor.
