We also do:
Stylistic advice (English & Dutch)
Text editing and proofreading

Experience over many years dealing with light technical texts, light legal texts, computer software manuals, popular scientific texts and EU-related texts. Our experience with text editing and proofreading means that we pay particular attention to the finer details of texts as well ('fine-tuning'). We use translation-memory software, but only as a tool: ultimately good translation requires human creativeness and insight, as well as the nitty-gritty of words, phrases and idiomatic expressions.
Pricing is negotiable depending on length, complexity, degree of specialisation and repetition etc. Normally we would expect payment ranging from 6 to 10 (UK) pence per word. This would be based on the SOURCE language, so that the client will always know beforehand exactly what a particular job will cost.
