My name is Christina Heger.
I am a trained and state-certified translator and interpreter (staatlich geprüfte Übersetzerin und Dolmetscherin) for English.
I am a German native speaker and I also live and work in Germany.

Since April April 2008 I have been working as a professional freelance translator, interpreter, proofreader, copy editor and voice-over artist for marketing videos.

I am also work freelance for Goetz & Weise as Translation Manager.


What can I do for you?

Leave your technical and literary texts with me. I also translate marketing und tourism-related texts for you. Rest assured that all your texts will be handled with the necessary care and professionalism.

As you can see, I have many different interests and skills that will help you receive the best service.

But to achieve this, I have to know what exactly it is that you need:

Translation, proofreading, copy editing ENGLISH > GERMAN > ENGLISH:
Every text is unique. Therefore, I would like you to send me the file via email to uebersetzungsservice.heger@googlemail.com. Please include any information on this project in the body of the e-mail.

What I need to know about the project is the target group and the purpose of the text. This way only I can find the right words.
Format and deadline are also vital pieces of information.
Is there any reference material? This enables me to use exactly those words you would like me to use.

Voice-over GERMAN:
You may have my voice for your videos, podcasts and other media.
Of course, I will be able to send you a sample recording. Please ask.
Your preferences regarding timbre and melody of the voice are implemented in the best possible way.
