I was born and raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Started learning english at a young age, as my mother was born in California, USA, but raised in Mexico. When I was 16 my family moved to the States. I completed highschool and went on to college in Las Vegas.
I worked as an EMT for a couple of years and left the profession when my daugther was born. After her arrival in 2005 I started studying interpretation.
Now, I'm a certified interpreter/translator. I trained and completed certification as a legal and medical interpreter. I began working for the local Trauma Hospital in 2006. I've covered the pediatrics, women's health and general clinics, as well as worked within the main hospital as an on-site or phone interpreter.
In March of 2008 I started working as a Court Interpreter. I work on site at the different local courts, attend depositions, translate documents and go on residential visits as needed.

Naci y me crie en Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Comenze a estudiar el ingles a temprana edad, puesto que mi madre nacio en California, EEUU. Cuando yo tenia 16, mis padres decicieron migrar a los Estados Unidos. Me gradue de la preparatioria y continue mis estudios universitarios aqui en Las Vegas.
Trabaje como socorrista por un par de anos, pero deje la profesion despues del nacimiento de mi primera hija. Posteriormente, en el 2005 comenze a estudiar interpretacion.
Ahora me dedico a la interpretacion y traduccion en el campo medico y legal. En el 2006 comenze a trabajar para un hospital local. He prestado mis servicios en las clinicas satelite de pediatria, cuidado de mujeres, y salud general, tanto como en las diferentes salas del hospital, desempen~ando el papel de interprete en el sitio o telefonico, segun se necesite.
En Marzo del 2008 comenze a trabajar para los Tribunales. He trabajado en los diferentes Tribunales de la ciudad y pueblos aledan~os, en declaraciones verbales juradas, y en la traduccion de documentos. Tambien realizo visitas residenciales con otros agentes o dependencias gubernamentales.
