Most people say they want to own a home computer for the following reasons: contact lists, e-mail, managing finances, writing and printing letters, surfing the Internet, and games. But what happens when you’re away from your home or office and you suddenly need that address or important document, or you’re just stuck waiting for a ride and you’d like to kill some time and play a game? Well, unfortunately, your PC is wired into a wall at your home, and while a laptop is a powerful machine, it is inherently expensive and power hungry. This is the very reason why size and capability make Personal Data Assistants (PDAs) so popular. The market is inundated with PDAs; with no less than six major manufacturers churning out new products every few months.
