Source text - English Welding on the machine should, if not agreed otherwise, be done by xxx's authorized service providers. There is a great fire risk and the area around the welding should be cleaned and if necessary watered down. Fire watcher(s) with extinguishers should be positioned.
Welding should only be done by trained and thereby authorized personnel. It is imperative that the earth cable be connected in close vicinity to the welding area, so that creeping currents won't damage the machine. Close-by photocells and sensors must be covered thoroughly, as welding flashes can destroy these. All electronic equipment for the machine should preferably be switched off. Wrongly performed welding can cause serious and expensive damage to the machine’s electrical system and to bearings and/or other machine parts.
