-Art History background (BA from Concordia University, Montreal). I have also obtained a degree in Sociology in Rome (Università La Sapienza) and completed my studies in Development Issues in Bolivia.
-Over 15 years experience as a freelance translator: worked initially as a congress coordinator and translator of conference texts.
-Worked for the last 8 years in the International Development sector, specializing in translations of projects for the EU and Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Also, I have carried out the subtitling of over 70 documentaries on the issue of biodiversity conservation and translated a 200 page textbook on organic farming for the AIAB (Associazione Italiana Agricoltura Biologica).
-Worked for over 4 years in the television sector, subtitling documentaries for the series "Cult", on political and cultural themes, as well as dance and music festivals (Venice Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, etc.).
-Worked for RaiSat Gambero Rosso, translating (from French to Italian) a series of documentaries related to food and wine, broadcasted on the satellite channel "Planet".
