As freelance translator I have done mostly English-Portuguese / Portuguese-English translations and have some published others broadcast (voiceover / dubbing).
As a teacher, I struggle to make my students love English as much as I do, or to at least find it fun and useful. I have also taught Translation to secondary students. Over the years I have had the chance of teaching all sorts of students (6th graders to night school) and have worked for more than 12 teaching institutions.
I am all for IT tools and resources, and use them translating as well as teaching. This is why I gladly applied for the IT and Teaching Master’s Degree.
I love music, reading, and am crazy about a good film or TV series.
I am also an animal lover (have 5 pets of my own... and counting!). One of my dogs' hobbies is to drag me for a walk whenever they get the chance. I also pass as a great pillow and food and pampering provider for my cats.
