Originally from Brazil, I have been living in London for the past ten years. As I often visit my homeland, I am able to enjoy a close contact with the English culture, without loosing pace with the culture I come from.
I have always had a passion for languages and although I hold a degree in Social Sciences, I started my career as a professional translator five years ago, following a year long postgraduate course in Translation at the University of Westminster, London.
My experience ranges from the translation of websites to the translation of banking, marketing, IT and academic texts from the Humanities field, to mention a few.
I translate both from Spanish and English into Brazilian Portuguese, using Wordfast as my favorite CAT tool. I am always open to take up a short translation test to prove my skills and can forward reference letters from happy clients to whom I have been providing my services.
