Born in Uruguay, moved to Brazil at the age of 10, left for the UK ten years later where I lived for the next 14 years.
This wandering has left me utterly comfortable with all three of these languages.
I have taught portuguese and spanish at all levels whilst living in the UK, done voice over jobs in both languages too for didactic publications.
I worked for London-based market research company Continental Research interviewing executives on a wide range of subjects and translating the results as part of the projects, always on a mighty tight time schedule.
I worked for three years for Atlas Diamonds (US based co) translating geological, financial, and mining reports plus doing hectic interpreting marathons flown into remote areas of Brazil whenever a representative came over on business.
Meantime worked translating market research interviews and reports, school reports, poetry and song lyrics interpretations, tourism leaflets and the like.
Currently I do free lance translations for Symantec, on their range of antivirus products.
To cut to the chase: I am fast, reliable, inquisitive and to the point.
