The main body of my translation work has been done with international NGOs (Non-Governmental Organisations) working in humanitarian programmes, since 1985. Most of my development and NGO experience was gained whilst working in the Emergencies Department of Oxfam GB in Oxford, over a period of 11 years.
My knowledge of health matters is based on my work as a qualified Complementary Health Practitioner and on my own personal experience.
I was born and grew up in Colombia where I studied Psychology. I have lived in England with my family since 1974 and now spend my time in both countries.

Specialist in translation As a professional in Modern Languages, with a diploma in Business English Translation, and a postgrade in translation from English and French into Spanish, I have had I wide experience in translatig documents related to: business, human resources, geology, and the oil & gas industry.

Over 20 years devoted to teaching English and translating in the fields of early childhood education, children´s literature and social issues. Three years interpreting and translating for a US foundation working with underprivileged communities in underdeveloped countries.
Vast experience and an extensive collection of cookbooks in two languages enable me to translate in this field as well.
The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to.
The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability.
