is there any tips or trick to check or QA missing translation in doc bilingual?

My first guess would be to run an analysis on the file and see if there are any untranslated words left.

The question was how to check for missing translation in a bilingual file, correct ?
Assuming you translate with Trados, you can run an analysis on your bilingual file and if segments have been missed or left untranslated, this should show in the analysis as "No match" segments.

can you explain more clearly ?
i puzzling that which version TM should be use for analysis
"updated TM" being used for the analysis?..or "none updated TM" for the bilngual file's analysis?

Please explain what you want to do.
If you speak about QA, you may be referring to a Web site or to some kind off software.
In which case, QA will try to spot (among others) messages which have NOT been integrated in a translatable message catalog (this is a developer error, not a translator error).

Pierce603, to answer to your question, I would use the updated TM, i.e. the TM as it stands after you have completed the translation of your file.

Indeed, Trados will just see that there is a pair "source segment-target segment" and will count it as 100% match even though the translated segment is actually the source text. ▲ Collapse
