Problems with MyMemory plug-in in Studio 2009 Thread poster: crispena

Hi.
After using successfully MyMemory plug-in for many months, I am encountering today some problems. My Memory only recognises one word of the original segment and offers a translation absolutely useless. I even got a translation in Portuguese while I am working English-Spanish.
Example: original segment - "Water management, harvesting and storage are key activities across the region." MyMemory segment: "Effectiveness of metadata management within and across your data ... See more Hi.

Has anyone encountered this problem and can provide me a solution?

Today I have discovered that only MyMemory Plugin is enabled and that all other translation memories are disabled in SDL Trados Studio 2011. For example:
"An der University von Aberdeen sind Forscher derzeit bestrebt eine Software zu entwickeln, mit der Hörende die Zeichensprache von Gehörlosen verstehen können."
has been translated by MyMemory Plugin at 12 % into English as follows:
"The industrial pallet differs from the euro-pallet in terms of a larger cumulative loading area."
The English target text has absolutely nothing to do with the German source text. At least "University of Aberdeen" should have stayed as it is. My SDL Trados Studio 2011 is therefore at the moment totally useless for me...

Hi all,
The same here.
Starting from yesterday's night, it won't deliver suitable translations at 84-85% but posts meaningless segments at 20% and lower instead.
Reinstalling didn't work.
Looks like a common problem globally.
Hope they are not up to make it paid-for, as Google guys did...

Now that I contacted MM support , they told me that the bug was fixed.
I've tested it and it is OK now.

Hello everyone and thanks for your rerplies. It's reassuring not to be the only one experiencing problems.
Just to tell you that today MyMemory seems to be working again for me!
