ProZ.com Business membership includes the benefits associated with Professional membership, such as unlimited Blue Board access, plus a set of tools and opportunities available exclusively to Business (formerly Corporate) members.

Many of these tools and opportunities provide operational advantages (such as the translation center currently used by several members to deliver millions of words to their customers, the employee profiles and improved risk management tools) or deliver premium service, such as the immediate posting of jobs, Blue Board arbitration and priority response to support requests, including phone support.

This thread will deal with the tools created for the promotion Business members, based on the principle that all promotional opportunities for outsourcing companies will be directed to ProZ.com Business members. This policy has been enunciated in a dedicated blog post.

Some of these tools have been around for a long time, such as the access to the ProZ.com Certified PRO Network and the privileged position given to Business members in the Translation agency and company directory, the industry’s busiest directory for finding language service providers (over 400 daily connections between language services buyers and providers).

A new promotional feature has been released in the form of a corporate box (including logo, company name, tag line and other key data) that is being displayed in the Blue board record of Business members, as well as in the jobs posted by them. When this promotional combo is displayed, no advertisement is presented at the top of the page in order to keep the focus on the featured Business member.



This is just an example of many changes to come, where the logo of Business members will be presented every time the companies are displayed on ProZ.com, and relevant ranking tables will be made exclusive for Business members.

This badge will be automatically updated to reflect the effect of new feedback entries received.

Displayed below is the real-life badge of an actual Business member (displayed with their permission). A great Blue Board feedback is a very positive indicator to both translators and potential clients about the way a company runs its business.
