Dear All Please what are the shortcuts that can help me navigating inside SDL Trados 2006 Up and Down, as used in Wordfast by Alt+Up/Down, to go up/down between segments,i.e, what is/are the shortcut(s) i can use to go to the previous segment specially. I will appreciate any help. TIA Yours, Ehab | | | Heinrich Pesch Finland Local time: 20:17 Member (2003) Finnish to German + ... There is a macro povided by Wordfast | Mar 17, 2007 |
This macro works when working with Trados in Word. I believe the macro is to be found in the Wordfast manual. Perhaps someone knows more. Regards Heinrich | | | | Rafa Lombardino United States Local time: 10:17 Member (2005) English to Portuguese + ... keyboard shortcuts | Mar 17, 2007 |

After you translate that segment, you can close+save it by using Alt+End and then Alt+Home to open the next one. After a segment is open, if you need to copy the source, go with Alt+Ins(ert) and you can edit the source within the target field as you wish. So far, these are the three main shortcuts I've been using for three years in the latest three Trados versions. Hope it helps! | |

Hi Ivan You are really helpful, actually your macro is wrking now very good. As i am using a Notebook, Dell Inspiron 2200, i have to press (Alt+Fn(a blue key)+"+" which is the higher function of the key of "?"), i was trying to do the same with the "-" key but it was not possible as it accepts only (Alt+"Any other Key"), so, i already selected (Alt+Shift+Up). Know i learnt how to put my own customized shortcuts, actually i will not subject my self to the risk of changing other function's shortcuts, but it was enough to creat the new one of "tw4winOpenPrevious". Thanks very much Ivan. Best Regards, Ehab | | | Ehab Tantawy Local time: 19:17 Member (2006) English to Arabic + ... TOPIC STARTER Thanks Rafa!! | Mar 17, 2007 |
