The first day will be devoted to optimizing translation memory and glossary management and using the BTM, VLTM, and MT to speed up your workflow. The second day will focus on handling specific file types including: HTML, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, and faxes. We'll also look at other software applications that complement Wordfast (PlusTools, Werecat, Olifant, Intelliwebsearch). Time permitting and depending on trainee needs, we'll learn how to create a translation memory from past translations using the alignment function of PlusTools.
Participants must bring their own laptop or rent one for the training.
