KudoZ Points

The asker reviews the suggestions and awards 1 to 4 points to the member who provided the translation deemed to be the most useful or the most accurate.

Some clients use KudoZ points to flag translators for further qualification. The logic is that if you require the services of a translator with understanding of medicine, a person who has earned 300 points from medical questions may be a good place to start looking.

Note: KudoZ and BrowniZ point totals shown in some places throughout the site are updated once daily, whereas those in other places are updated in real time. So there can be temporary discrepancies, but correction is made when all points are counted once per day. Also, if errors were to occur, they should be corrected within a day.

FYI KudoZ Rules

3.1 - Askers are required to provide feedback to answerers by selecting the answer they find most helpful. This is called "grading." (It is also possible to decline all answers.)

3.2 - It is recommended that askers allow 24 hours to pass before grading. This gives professionals in various time zones an opportunity to prepare well-researched answers.
