Aiwei Shi


Mr. Aiwei Shi graduated from Fuzhou University with a BA degree in English Linguistics and Literature in 1992. He was hired as an interpreter for the Asian Weight-lifting Championship held in Fuzhou for two weeks. In 1995 he translated materials for a thermal power plant. Since 1992 Mr. Shi has been teaching translation theory and practice. So far he has published more than ten research papers and articles on translation theory and two English poems. He is now completing MA thesis in English Linguistics and Literature.
