We have a large project for a non-profit organization based in Bogotá, Colombia, and therefore we are looking for translators to help us meet an immediate need, which will require steady translation for at least the next month.

Word environment:
1. Translators will be given access to a very extensive TM, which will provide substantial support for the translation.
2. Translators will also be given access to a large glossary in MultiTerm

Job requirements:
1. Must have immediate availability to traslate approximately 3,000 words per day.
2. Must have SDL Trados and MultiTerm installed, preferably version 2007, and understand how to use them.

Trados pay scale:
Repeats: 20% standard rate
100 % matches: 20% standard rate
95-99% matches: 30% standard rate
85-94% matches: 60% standard rate
75-84% matches: 80% standard rate

Preferences:
1. Native English speaker.
2. Previous experience translating Christian NGO work.

This is a good job for a young translator looking to build experience and establish a new customer. It is not a good job for an established translator with fixed rates outside of those offered. The customer is not able to adjust their rates, and therefore our offered rates are fixed.
