Languages: Russian to English
Job description:
Dear colleagues!
At present, I am translating a fantasy book for children from Russian into English.
The book contains some verses that are pretty difficult for me to translate, for I am not a native English speaker.
That is why Im looking now for a native English speaker who could translate poetry well enough to help me with this task.
There are about 700 words of verses in the book.
Id like you to give me your rates (price per one word). Please note that the budget I have for this project is not very large, so I wont be able to accept bids that are too high.
Also, please let me know what types of payment you accept.
Before bidding, please do a sample translation of the verse given below. It will be the main criteria for choosing one translator to perform this job. The chosen bidder will be paid for this sample verse as well.

P.S. The verse in a sort of incantation chanted by a wicked witch. is to be translated as the Meadow. When translating, please keep the current meter, and make the English translation as close to the original text as possible. Also, please note that it must be American English, not British. So let me know where you are located.
Looking forward to hear from you!
