Job description:

A client needs to have two brochures translated into Japanese.

The first is around 30,000 words, about photonics in general -- an overview of the field in the UK, followed by technical details of the activities of dozens of universities and companies.

The second is around 20,000 words, about flat panel displays. Again it consists of an overview of the field in the UK, followed by technical details of the activities of dozens of universities and companies. A previous version is viewable online at the URL shown below.

Accreditation and prior experience of working in teams to standardize terminology etc. would be nice, but demonstrable experience in this field is even more important.

Please tell me your rates -- preferably in UKP per 1000 source words but failing this, in yen per 1000 source words. Thanks!
