In his second article on the squeezing texts series, Paul Sulzberger provides some alternative tricks that may prove useful for translators when trying to squeeze text into a table that was created for a completely different language.
Some of these tricks include the following:
Trick 1 – Try Word’s AutoFit function first.
Trick 2 – Adjust the internal margins of the cells
Trick 3 – Use Character Spacing to slightly squeeze up the text within the cell.
