The largest book fair in the Spanish-speaking world and one of the most important cultural events in Latin America will open today. Gathering over one million people each year, the fair will be open until May 9, 2011 in La Rural in Palermo (Argentina).

International guests

The following renowned guests have already confirmed their presence: Mario Vargas Llosa, Nobel Laureate in Literature, Wilbur Smith, author from Zambia, Carlos Páez Vilaró, Uruguayan artist, Robert Castel, Rosa Montero and Antonio Muñoz Molina, among others.
