The Iranian translator Mohammad Qa’ed has recently completed the Persian rendering of a collection of letters Emily Lorimer, wife of a British consul in Kerman, sent from the Iranian city to her parents in Dublin in 1913 and 1914.
The Karnameh Publications is scheduled to print the letters in a book entitled “Letters from Kerman to Dublin”, the Persian service of the Iranian Students News Agency reported on Tuesday.
The original letters were first kept by the Lorimer family in her lifetime, but they were donated to the British Museum by her heirs after her death, he said. More.
