This is really surprising. Sep 19, 2013

Translation requires very specific skills, quite unique often, comparable to pianists, artists and graphic designers, perhaps. I would not think it were growing so fast. This is good, if the industries are ready to pay relevant salaries, whatever translator's skills are worth -- within the range of the professions requiring graduate education.

This is great news Sep 20, 2013

Good to know that the hiring trends for translation related job are growing. The question is that how translators like ourselves can say NO to low-priced projects - as low as 0.03 cent per word (It is ridiculous!) - so that translators can have good income to make decent living.
