One of the things that I like to put on any phone that I own is a dictionary, as it enables me to quickly look up information on the phone.

Dictionaries that do not provide an offline mode on the other hand are not really worth it in my opinion, considering that you can only use them if you are connected to the Internet, which may not always be possible.

And if you have a reliable Internet connection, you can as easily go to Leo.org, Dictionary.com or any of the other dictionary websites out there.

Dictionary.com is without doubt one of the most popular dictionary apps for Android. The app has received an incredible amount of reviews — more than 368,000 at the time of review — and is regularly updated by the people responsible for it.

One recent update has introduced offline mode to the app. This means that you can now download the dictionary to your phone instead of relying on Internet connections for the look-up, so that it can be used regardless of the Internet connection’s state. More.
