Wordfast Training for Beginners
ProZ.com would like to invite you to attend the third co-sponsored Wordfast Training for Beginners (Level 1) on September 6th and 7th in Nice, France. This is a great opportunity for you to learn how to start using a CAT tool, meet other translators who use Wordfast, and take advantage of a business trip to visit the lovely city of Nice and its surroundings.
The training will be conducted in English by John Di Rico. The first day will be devoted to setting up and using the general features of Wordfast. The second day will focus on glossaries, translation memory management, and references. Time permitting, we'll learn how to create a translation memory from past translations using the alignment function of PlusTools.
The training will last two full days. John has negotiated special discount rates at hotels for training participants.
The cost is €260 including tax. For French participants who would like to use their annual government-sponsored training stipend to pay for the training (FIF-PL, DIF), an additional administrative fee of €115 will be assessed.
Space is limited so reserve your spot as soon as possible! We look forward to seeing you in September!
