Description
All professional translators wishing to keep regular clients while meeting new ones should expand their translation business. Training, being up-to-date with translation software, networking, promotion, re-adjusting to translation market changes and gaining more experience should not only help translators maintain a good position in the market but also give them the chance to keep moving forward.
There is no such thing as enough experience or enough knowledge in the translation business. Translators must try to keep on top of new developments in the translation industry and make sure they offer what today's clients need.

Recommendations
• For the visual section of the training course, we recommend that you have a 64kbps link. This means using an ISDN line or Broadband. Wireless connection is NOT recommended.
• For the audio section of the training course, we recommend that you have a headset or speakers.
• We recommend that you log in 30 minutes in advance of the start time to prepare for the training course.
Courses will be open half an hour before the start time. Please login before the start time to ensure that everything on your system is working correctly.

Informative content for any beginner. Wish, the Trainer had prompted the Participants to put any question they may be having. Presentation finished in about 15 minutes against scheduled duration of 60 minutes.

It was very interesting. The trainer is a great communicator. I expected some other elements to take into account about expanding translation business (besides proz.com tools).

I am afraid that you may have missed the question-answer portion of this session, Rajinder. Attendees were offered the chance of not only sharing their own experiences, but also of asking questions right after the presentation. In fact, the session was 115 minutes long (almost 2 hours).
