Wordfast Training for Beginners

Due to the success of our first Training session, ProZ would like to invite you to attend the second co-sponsored Wordfast Training for Beginners (levels 1 and 2) on May 29th and 30th in Nice, France. This is a great opportunity for you to learn how to make the most out of your CAT tool, meet other translators who use Wordfast, and take advantage of a business trip to visit the lovely city of Nice and its surroundings.

The training will be conducted in English by John Di Rico. The first day will be devoted to setting up and using the general features of Wordfast. The second day will focus on more advanced features: glossary and translation memory management, references, PlusTools, Pandora’s Box, etc. We'll learn how to translate Excel and Powerpoint files and how to create a translation memory from past translations using the alignment function.

The training will last two full days. John has negotiated special discount rates at hotels for training participants.

The cost is €250 including tax.
A  €125 surcharge will be applied to translators registered in France who intend to have their training paid for using their FIF-PL or DIF funds. This surcharge covers the additional administrative and accounting costs related to these cases. For more information, please contact the trainer.
