 | Bio: In 2000, Mariènne completed a National Diploma in Language Practice, after which she obtained a BA Hons in French Translation in 2002. After studying in France, she had an epiphany: even within seemingly homogeneous communities, cultures shift. One of her goals in life is bring to light the extraordinary differences between the self and the closest other. She has been translating and localising her way through numerous research questionnaires, user manuals, websites, user interfaces and software programmes over the past five years. She also dabbles in instructional design and writing children's stories. |
