Source text - English XXX is a comprehensive performance review and evaluation service, providing clients with an objective view on the performance of their investments. When reviewing the performance of any portfolio, it is easy to focus solely on investment returns. However, the level of risk being taken to achieve those returns also plays a very important role when reviewing overall investment performance. Too much risk could lead to significant underperformance in subsequent periods, but may be masked by more recent gains. Reviewing both risk and return together provides a more complete picture of the performance of any investment strategy and helps to establish whether the investment risk being taken is appropriate for the stated risk profile. XXX uses customised benchmarks to evaluate the relative performance of the managers. These benchmarks are only rebalanced if the clients strategic asset allocation is modified, otherwise they do not change to reflect the portfolio’s current asset weighting. This approach allows the investment results produced by both the strategic allocation and the actual allocation to be compared, thereby highlighting the effectiveness of the active management. For clients with more than one portfolio, it is important to know whether the combination of managers adds value. Just like combining stocks whose return patterns are not correlated can provide diversification benefits, so too can selecting managers whose investment styles complement one another. XXX provides information not only on whether a given manager is performing in line with expectations, but whether the mix of managers is providing the desired risk-return profile for the client’s assets taken as a whole. Source text - English 3.1 WORKING PRINCIPLE The machine operates by catching the skin between the knife beam and the toothed roller. The operator has to feed the machine with fish by bringing them towards the toothed roller. As soon as the fish touches the roller, the skin is caught between the teeth of the roller and the fish will pass through the machine at its own speed. A cleaning roller continuously evacuates the skin to the refuse bin underneath the machine. In order to keep sufficient tension on the skin, the distance between the roller and the stripping beam must be kept to a minimum. 3.3 ADJUSTMENTS 3.3.1 Adjusting the position of the knife blade To achieve maximum yield, the knife blade must be in the optimum position relative to the toothed roller. For some kinds of fish it may be necessary to move the knife blade forward or backward from the factory-adjusted position. Moving the blade farther away from the roller improves the grip but gives a thicker cut. Moving the blade closer to the roller has the opposite effect: thinner cut but less grip. Moving the blade beyond the highest point of the toothed roller will cause a complete loss of grip. The adjustment is made as follows: 1) Turn the main switch in position ‘0’ and pull the plug. 2) Open the out-feed tray to unbolt the blade holder. 3) Loosen the 3 blade clamping levers completely. 4) Remove the upper part of the blade holder. 5) Reposition the 2 blade stops forward or backward. Put some grease in the holes to keep the stops from falling out. 6) Reassemble the upper part of the blade holder and close the out-feed tray again. 7) Turn the main switch back in position ‘1’. Wird die Klinge weiter von der Walze weg bewegt, wird zwar die Haftung verbessert, jedoch nimmt die Schnittbreite zu. Wird die Klinge näher an die Walze gebracht, hat dies den entgegengesetzten Effekt: dünnere Schnittbreite, aber schlechtere Haftung. Wird die Klinge über den höchsten Punkt der Zahnwalze hinaus eingestellt, hat dies einen kompletten Haftungsverlust zur Folge. Die Einstellung wird folgendermaßen durchgeführt: 1) Drehen Sie den Hauptschalter auf Position ‘0’ und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker. 2) Öffnen Sie das Abfuhrblech, um den Messerhalter zu entriegeln. 3) Lösen Sie die drei Messerklemmhebel komplett. 4) Entfernen Sie den oberen Teil des Messerhalters. 5) Bringen Sie die zwei Messeranschläge in eine neue Position, entweder nach vorn oder nach hinten. Damit die Anschläge nicht herausfallen, versehen Sie die Löcher mit etwas Fett. 6) Bauen Sie den oberen Teil des Messerhaltes wieder ein und schließen Sie das Abfuhrblech wieder. 7) Drehen Sie den Hauptschalter wieder auf Position ‘1’.

Source text - English Red Planet for Sale? How Corporate Sponsors Could Send Humans to Mars NASA scientists and their colleagues are now proposing corporate financing for a human mission to Mars. This raises the prospect that a spaceship named the Microsoft Explorer or the Google Search Engine could one day go down in history as the first spaceship to bring humans to the Red Planet. The proposal suggests that companies could drum up $160 billion for a human mission to Mars and a colony there, rather than having governments fund such a mission with tax dollars. Joel Levine, a senior research scientist at NASA Langley Research Center, was quoted in a release in the Journal of Cosmology by Dr. Rhawn Joseph. The plan covers "every aspect of a journey to the Red Planet — the design of the spacecrafts, medical health and psychological issues, the establishment of a Mars base, colonization, and a revolutionary business proposal to overcome the major budgetary obstacles which have prevented the U.S. from sending astronauts to Mars," said Levine. Money could get raised from the licensing of broadcast rights, clothing, toys, movies, books, games, and so forth. Perhaps even selling the mineral and land rights on Mars could generate money. "The solution is marketing, merchandising, and corporate sponsorships, which is something NASA has never done before," Levine told Joseph for his Journal of Cosmology release. Levine continued, "It's a whole new economic plan for financing a journey to Mars and what will become the greatest adventure in the history of the human race."
