About me
Certified PROs.jpg

A British native speaker born in the United Kingdom with more than 30 years experience in translation from German into English.

Whether you are in business, trade or simply a private individual, English is a language understood the world over. Radio, television and print media are filled with English texts and slogans. Wherever you turn nowadays, English is there for all to see. Why not tap into this ever-growing market and target a whole new world of clients through the international appeal of English.

Your German content:

press releases
information leaflets
business correspondence
e-mail correspondence
questionnaires, etc.

expertly translated by a native speaker will help unlock the hidden potential in your company for the non-German-speaking world to see.

When reaching out to a wider audience, the importance of a natural sounding translation can never be underestimated. For a truly professional translation, a native speaker is a must. Only then can you be confident you have the local knowledge and capabilities of someone able to share your message in English.

In 1982, I decided to pursue my passion for languages by relocating to live and work in Germany. Working as a bilingual secretary for a pharmaceutical research institute in Munich and a further five years as a part-time translator for a research institute in Hamburg has given me an in-depth knowledge of the life sciences sector.

I returned to a full-time career as a professional freelance translator in 2008 and have expanded my translating field to include a wide range of services.
