In relatively infrequent cases we require additional documents to support a booking. This may occur when the guest name differs from the cardholder or when our Fraud Protection program identifies a high-risk transaction.
What is your cancellation policy for hotel reservations?
Unless specifically mentioned otherwise in the cancellation policy, cancellations received prior to the period(s) or dates(s) mentioned in the cancellation policy will incur a processing fee equivalent to US$15, dependent on the chosen currency and exchange rate at time of booking.
Any changes to your reservation must be made through our Customer Service agents and not directly with the hotel. This applies to change of dates, extension of stay, early check out, delay of arrival or cancellation in full or in part.
Shortening your stay during high seasons, periods of high occupancy, during trade fairs and conventions, or failure to cancel your reservation prior to the due date noted on your confirmation e-mail, may result in a penalty charge being imposed by the hotel.
| Translation - Indonesian Kenapa saya harus menyerahkan dokumen tambahan selama proses pembayaran?
Dalam kasus-kasus yang jarang terjadi, kami membutuhkan dokumen tambahan untuk mendukung pemesanan. Ini terjadi jika nama tamu berbeda dengan pemilik kartu kredit atau ketika program Fraud Protection mengidentifikasi transaksi yang berisiko tinggi.
Apa kebijakan pembatalan pemesanan hotel Anda?
| English to Indonesian: Annual Report General field: Bus/Financial Detailed field: Finance (general) | Source text - English Transaksi berjalan pada triwulan I 2009 mencatat surplus sekitar USD1,8 miliar (triwulan IV 2008: defisit USD0,7 miliar). | Translation - Indonesian
The current accounts for the first quarter of 2009 have recorded a surplus of USD 1.8 billion (the deficit in the fourth quarter of 2008: USD 0.7 billion). The improved performance of the current accounts was due to the increased surplus of non-oil and gas balance of trade and a lower deficit of the oil and gas balance of trade and balance of service. The surplus increase of non-oil and gas balance of trade was originated by a sharper decline in non-oil and gas import compared to non-oil and gas export. It is notable that even though the non-oil and gas export in quarter I of 2009 has declined, the declining rate tends to slow down due to an increased prices of several export commodities and a continuous strong demand of copper and coal in some Asian countries. The decreasing import, especially import of oil, was also the reason behind the decreasing deficit of oil balance of trade. These declining imports of oil followed a change in fuel (BBM) consumption that had sharply decreased because of the slowing down of economic growth rate and the continuation of fuel conversion program from oil to gas and coal. With the sharp decline of import, the expenditure in transport service has also decreased which then resulted in the lower deficit of service balance.

I enjoy translating movie subtitles and documents on various subjects such as finance, law, public relations, and literature.
In addition to being fluent in English, I also hold a bachelor's degree in English from University of Indonesia and a master's degree in English literature from a university in the United States. I also have the advantages of living in the United States for quite some times that allows me to have a more acute understanding of the idioms and phrases of American English both in formal and colloquial languages.
Translation for me is not only about accuracy or completing tight deadlines, but more about building bridges of communication and understanding between nations. As translators, we hold the key to open doors of opportunities among countries of the world and therein lies a huge responsibility. This is the reason why I take every translation job seriously.
The drive behind me is always to give one hundred percent and do my very best performance on every sentence I translate and every assignment given to me. I am also open to suggestions or feedback from my clients and colleagues in order to improve the quality of my translations. Making severe mistakes that totally change the intended meaning or word per word translation is no option for me.
Thank you for your interest in my translation service. I am looking forward to working with you to efficiently achieve the highest level of translation results with reasonable rates. | This user has earned KudoZ points by helping other translators with PRO-level terms.
