Daedalus, a well-known architect, had built a huge labyrinth on the island of Crete. The Labyrinth was full of twisting paths. In this labyrinth lived a monster, part bull, part man. This monster had already devoured men. The name of this monster was Minotaur, the name of the king of Crete was Minos.

Every year the people of Athens were obliged to send seven boys and seven girls to the labyrinth, where the Minotaur devoured them.

Once,Theseus was among the victims. He was the prince of Athens, and a brave and strong young man. Although he realized the great danger, Theseus nevertheless had to go with the other young people.
IV
Ariadne, however, the king's daughter, had fallen in love at first sight with the handsome young man. Ariadne had secretly given Theseus a sword and a long thread. Theseus had tied the thread to the entrance before he went into the labyrinth.
V
The Minotaur, when he saw Theseus, tried to kill the young man. But Theseus was prepared; without delay he killed the monster with the sword. After that he easily found the exit of the labyrinth with the thread and freed the other young people.
VI
After that Theseus fled with Ariadne and the other young people across the sea. In the evening they arrived at the island of Naxus. Here, however, at midnight Theseus, an ungrateful young man, deserted the faithful and loving girl, and returned without her to his country.

PILES :
Retirer le couvercle du compartiment des piles qui se trouve au bas à l’arrière du taille-favoris en tirant doucement sur le cran, puis en soulevant le couvercle pour le détacher. Insérer deux piles alcalines AAA, selon les indications, puis remettre le couvercle du compartiment en place avec un déclic. Pour un meilleur rendement, remplacer les piles dès que la puissance du taille-favoris commence à diminuer.
UTILISATION :
Régler le taille-favoris en position de marche (ON) et d’arrêt (OFF) en appuyant sur le bouton sur le devant de l’appareil. Le taille-favoris est vendu avec un peigne transparent qui permet de tailler les poils du visage à diverses longueurs. Pour utiliser cet accessoire, le pousser doucement sur l’extrémité du taille-favoris jusqu’à ce qu’un déclic se fasse entendre. Il peut être bougé de bas en haut; chaque déclic indique le nouveau réglage pour la longueur. Pour ajuster ou retirer cet accessoire, en pincer les côtés de sorte qu'il se dégage, puis le faire glisser doucement le long du taille-favoris.
RETRAIT DES LAMES :

-If the side-burn trimmer will not be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries before storing.
BATTERIES:
Pull back the cover of the battery compartment, which is found on the lower bottom part of the side-burn trimmer, pulling gently on the notch, and then lift the cover to remove it. Insert two alkaline AAA batteries, according to the directions, and then replace the cover of the compartment with a click.
-For better efficiency, replace the batteries in your side-burn trimmer before their power begins to diminish.
USE:
Adjust the side-burn trimmer from the operating-position (ON) to the stop-position (OFF) by pushing the button on the front of the apparatus. The side-burn trimmer is sold with a transparent comb which allows you to trim the hairs to various lengths. To use this accessory, push it gently on the tip of the side-burn trimmer until a click can be heard. It can be moved from low to high, each click indicates the new length adjustment. To adjust or remove this accessory, pinch the sides so that it comes off, then slide it gently along the side-burn trimmer.
BLADE REMOVAL:
It is possible to remove the cutting block when the side-burn trimmer is turned off. You only need to pull on the upper extremity of the blades in the opposite direction from the back of the apparatus. Once removed, the blades can be cleaned or replaced. For cleaning them, brush them gently or blow off the visible hairs. To replace the blades, you only need to push the cutting block back into place just until you hear a click. It is not recommended to use water to clean the side-burn trimmer or the blades.

ABSTRACT
Knowledge of vigilance behavior of wild camelids and how they respond to habitat and weather is very limited and virtually non-existent compared to other large, wild ungulates. Effects of weather variables and gender on vigilance behaviors of vicuñas (Vicugna vicugna) and how they behave and react to time of day, density and habitat were considered for this study. A total of 10 vicuña family groups from each of three sites were identified within the Chimborazo Faunal Reserve, Ecuador. Each group was observed twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Of the four tested weather variables, vigilance of vicuñas was only affected by wind speed. The higher the wind speed, the more vigilant vicuñas became, perhaps because risk of predation increases with wind speed. There was no diurnal pattern to vigilance. Other behavioral activities (standing and foraging) were significantly different between morning and afternoon. Similarly, some activities differed between sexes; males were standing more and foraging less than females. There was no relationship between vigilance of vicuñas and habitat or density. Group size of vicuñas was not related to density, but group size increased with territory size. These findings can help address ecosystem management and ecotourism practices of the Reserve. An important recommendation is for studies that allow forage estimation and overall habitat management of the vicuña. | Translation - English

El conocimiento del comportamiento de vigilancia del las camélidas salvajes y como responden al habitat y al tiempo es muy limitado y casi no existe comparado con los otros ungulados grandes y salvajes. Los efectos de los cambios en el tiempo y genero en los comportamientos de vigilancia en las vicuñas (Vicugna vicugna) y como se comportan y reaccionan a la hora del día, a la densidad, y al hábitat eran considerados para este estudio. Un total de 10 grupos familiares de vicuña de cada uno de tres sitios eran identificados dentro de la Reserva de Fauna de Chimborazo, en Ecuador. Cada grupo fue observado dos veces, una vez por la mañana y una vez por la tarde. De los cuatro variables del tiempo probados, la vigilancia de las vicuñas fue solamente afectado por la velocidad del viento. Cuanta más alta la velocidad del viento, lo más vigilantes las vicuñas se volvieron, quizás porque el riesgo de depredación aumenta con la velocidad del viento. No había patrón diurna a la vigilancia.Otras actividades de comportamiento (parar y forrajear) eran considerablemente diferentes entre la mañana y la tarde.De la misma manera, algunas actividades eran distintos entre los sexos; los machos estaban parados mas y forrajeando menos que las hembras. No había relación entre la vigilancia de las vicuñas y el hábitat o la densidad. El tamaño del grupo de vicuña no era relacionado con la densidad, pero el tamaño del grupo aumento con el tamaño del territorio.
