The following terms and conditions when signed and countersigned will constitute an agreement (“Agreement”) between ___________________________(“Licensor”), located at_______________, and ______________________________ (“Licensee”), located at __________________________________________,
WHEREAS, Licensor, as the proprietor of certain stock footage, included in Schedule A (the “Footage”) and a Quicktime file representative of the eighteen-second clip selected from the Footage for use in the program (“Selected Material”), delivered as an attachment to this Agreement and as the owner or legally appointed Representative of third party collections, makes the footage available for limited licenses to film and video producers;
WHEREAS, Licensee wishes to acquire rights to use aforementioned stock footage from the Licensor in the Licensee’s documentary film (the “Production”) under the terms and conditions set forth below;
NOW, THEREFORE, Licensor and Licensee agree as follows;
1. Licensor grants to Licensee, subject to the terms and conditions hereof, the non-exclusive, non-transferable right (other than as part of an assignment or transfer of all rights in the Production) to use the Footage. Licensee may use the Footage or any portion thereof solely in the Production, and Licensee will not use, copy, transfer, exhibit, sell or distribute the Footage or any portion thereof for any other purpose without prior entry into a separate written agreement with the Licensor.
2. Licensee shall pay all costs relating to provision of the Footage, including screening and shipping charges at standard rates. Licensee agrees that incorporation of the Footage into the Production will not affect ownership of title to or copyright in the Footage.
3. Licensor shall use reasonable efforts to deliver Footage to Licensee in accordance with deadlines that may be mutually agreed with Licensee, but Licensee accepts that Licensor shall not be liable in any way to Licensee in the event of failure to deliver by any deadline.
4. Licensee agrees to examine all Footage upon receipt and to notify Licensor in writing within fourteen (14) days of receipt (which shall be determined to be forty-eight (48) hours after dispatch) of any defect that prevents use. Unless Licensor is notified otherwise, within said fourteen (14) day period, the Licensee shall be deemed to have accepted the Footage supplied.

Le Licencié accepte le fait que l’incorporation du métrage dans la Production n’affectera pas le titre de propriété du métrage ou son droit d’auteur.
3. Le Concédant est tenu de déployer des efforts raisonnables pour livrer le métrage au Licencié conformément aux délais convenus avec le Licencié, mais le Licencié accepte que le Concédant ne pourra en aucune manière être tenu responsable en cas de dépassement du délai de livraison.
4. Le Licencié accepte d’examiner l’intégralité du métrage dès réception et d’informer le Concédant par écrit dans un délai de quatorze jours (14) après réception (laquelle devra avoir lieu quarante-huit heures (48) après la date d’envoi) de toute anomalie qui en empêcherait l’utilisation. BEAUTY may be more than skin deep after all. New research suggests that good-looking people do better in exams and thus probably in later life, than the plain or downright ugly.
In the study, better looking students achieved superior results in both oral and written exams — the latter marked anonymously — suggesting that success is not just down to teachers favouring attractive students but to superior natural ability.
Debate has raged for years among sociologists and economists over “the beauty factor”. The significance of the new research is that even where testing is “blind”, good-looking people do better. One reason for this, the researchers suggest, is that attractive children get more attention from their parents. Even more important is that good looks lead to higher self-esteem. “Physical appearance has a significant and economically meaningful effect on the performance of students,” said the authors of the study led by Giam Pietro Cipriani, associate professor of economics at the University of Verona in Italy. | Translation - French

The Spell of the Sensuous
Rather than dive right into the realm of interpretation (the rewards of
that effort come later) instead, revel for a time in the senses, wallow
even; in the seeming incongruities of the first glance before the mind
engages. Fetal pigs and salamanders, floating tumors, limbs of dolls, fish
with wings, distorted or disembodied facial features—their full meanings
may remain hidden within the mind of the painter. Yet the entities, their
pairings and distortions offer multiple levels of access. Each represents
different perspectives, either the viewers’ own visceral response to the
imagery or through the artist’s personal engagement with questions
relating to the connections between all things on a philosophical and
metaphysical level.
We are made up of water. In water we go through the trial and experiment and play of being alive.
Aspects of ourselves that we disavow - out of fear or shame - persist nonetheless. If unclaimed and submerged, they range, wild and apart, and we remain cut off from part of ourselves. This "shadow" self, as Carl Jung calls it, keeps swimming through us, bubbling up unexpectedly to show its "ugly" face. Only when we are willing to look at it, to meet its gaze, and call it home to us, may we become whole.

Plutôt que de plonger directement dans le domaine de l’interprétation (les récompenses de cet effort viendront plus tard) délectez-vous pendant un moment des sens, réjouissez-vous même des incongruités apparentes du premier coup d’œil avant que l’esprit ne s’éveille. Les fœtus de cochon et de salamandre, les tumeurs flottantes, les membres de poupées, les poissons qui ont des ailes, les traits de visage déformés ou désincarnés ; leurs significations complètes peuvent rester cachées dans l’esprit du peintre. Cependant, les entités, leurs groupements et leurs déformations offrent de nombreux niveaux d’accès. Chacun représente différentes perspectives, soit à travers la propre réaction instinctive de l’observateur face aux images, soit à travers l’engagement personnel de l’artiste dans des questions liées aux connections entre toutes choses, sur le plan philosophique et métaphysique.
Nous somme faits d’eau. Dans l’eau nous faisons face à l’épreuve et jouons le rôle qui consiste à être vivant. Les aspects de notre être que nous rejetons, par peur ou par honte, persistent néanmoins. Si abandonnés ou submergés, ils errent, de façon incontrôlée et à l’écart, et nous restons séparés d’une partie de nous-mêmes. Cette « ombre » de soi-même, comme l’appelle Carl Jung, continue de nager à travers nous, jaillissant en bouillonnant de façon inattendue pour montrer son « vilain » visage. Seulement lorsque nous sommes disposés à la regarder en face et à l’accueillir à bras ouverts pouvons-nous devenir complets.

Declared " unfit", president Bourguiba was relieved of his post on 7 November 1987, and replaced by President Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali, who was appointed Prime Minister one month earlier. The PSD was restructured and became the Democratic Constitutional Rassemblement (RCD), committed to renewing the leadership. The Constitution abolished the laws relating to the life presidency of the Republic and selective amnesty was granted. Ben Ali was appointed head of Military Security in 1964, which he directed for ten years. He became the military attache for Morocco and Spain, and moved to Rabat in 1974. He was then made Minister for Defense before occupying the role of General manager of National Safety (December 1977). In April 1980, he became the ambassador to Warsaw.
At the end of his mission in Poland in 1984, he was again appointed, initially General manager, then Secretary of State (October 29, 1984), then Minister for national Safety (October 23, 1985). On April 28, 1986, he became the Minister of Interior Department. In June of the same year, he entered the Political Office of the Socialist Party Destourien (PSD) becoming the associated Secretary-general. Promoted to the rank of interior minister in May 1987, he was elected as Prime Minister on October 2, 1987, at the age of fifty-one, while remaining interior minister. He became Secretary-general of the PSD

Aconite stands for the 4 F's: Fast-Fever-Fulminant-Fright. 'Fast', because it belongs to an acute, sudden-onset illness. For instance, the child goes to bed peacefully and wakes up around midnight with sudden high fever (104°-105° F), restless and full of fear, screaming for his mother. He feels very hot all over the body and is very thirsty for large quantities of cold water. The word 'Fulminant' relates to the high fever. Aconite has a strong disease picture, "as if a storm started suddenly in the patient." This typically happens when the child has played outside in a cold, dry wind as often happens in the winter. The child gets sweaty, throws his jacket off, and gets chilled. Aconite is most often used for sore throats, beginning cold with dry hacking cough, conjunctivitis, pharyngitis, sudden fright (almost got killed in an accident, after an earthquake, any other shock situation; it has been called the homeopathic "Valium"). | Translation - French
