Satyam Announces Acquisition of UK based Nitor Global Solutions Limited.
• Under all-cash transaction, NITOR will be merged with Satyam’s Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) Group

Hyderabad, 23rd Oct 2007: Satyam Computer Services Limited (NYSE:SAY),announced today that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% stake in Nitor Global Solutions Limited (“NITOR”) of the UK, a niche consulting firm providing Infrastructure Management Services (IMS), for up to GBP 2.76m (US$ 5.5M) in cash. The deal marks the second acquisition in Europe by the Indian software giant which recorded revenues of US$1.46 billion in the fiscal year ended 31 March 2007.
NITOR, which was founded in 2002, posted revenues of US$ 3M for year ending September 2007.

Hyderabad, Indien, 23. Oktober 2007: Satyam Computer Services Limited (NYSE: SAY), gab heute die endgültigen Vertragsvereinbarung zum Erwerb von 100 Prozent aller Anteile an der britischen Nitor Global Solutions Limited („NITOR“), einem Consulting-Spezialisten für Infrastruktur Management Services (IMS), bekannt. Die Kaufsumme betrug etwa 2,76 Mio. GBP (5,5 Mio. US-Dollar) in bar. Der Kauf ist bereits die zweite europäische Übernahme des indischen Software-Giganten, der während des am 31. März 2007 beendeten Geschäftsjahres Einnahmen von 1,46 Mrd. US-Dollar verzeichnete.
Die 2002 gegründete NITOR gab für das im September 2007 endende Jahr Einnahmen von 3 Mio. US-Dollar bekannt.
NITOR verfügt bei der Implementierung von End-to-End-Lösungen und beim Programm-/ Projektmanagement im Bereich IMS über umfangreiche Erfahrungen. Außerdem entstehen für Satyam durch NITOR neue Beziehungen zu einigen der wichtigsten europäischen Banken, Pharma- sowie Telekommunikations- und Medienunternehmen.
Dr. Keshab Panda, Head von Satyams European Operations sagte dazu: „Die Übernahme von NITOR ist für unser Unternehmen von strategischer Bedeutung. Mit dieser Übernahme werden wir im europäischen IMS-Bereich sicher schnell wachsen können.“

Satyam wird NITOR in sein IMS-Sparte eingliedern. Die Directors von NITOR, Todd Whaley und Stephen Craike, werden den europäischen Bereich ISM bei Satyam nach der Übernahme leiten.
