"Getting accurate information from the internet and paper references"
Knowing how to obtain accurate information is the most important skill for a programmer next to programming itself. Working blindly by trial and error is a waste of time. A person who can program is, above all things, a person that can skillfully obtain information. Of course, it isn't that veteran programmers have everything memorized; it’s that they have the books (documents, notes, paper references etc.) ready at hand so that they can search through for what they need. For those of you asking, why can’t I program? try starting by preparing and maintaining your own information sources.

I set clear goals and continue them to completion. I have over 8 years experience of Japanese language, including over 3 years of Japanese business experience and 3 years of translation experience. Currently, I’m employed in Japan as a system engineer whose duties include software localization and software document translation in addition to programming.
I also volunteer twice a week at the Nagoya International Center, translating tourist information, immigration information and news articles as well as other miscellaneous documents.
In my free time, I enjoy reading books and manga, watching TV and listening to music, both entirely in English or Japanese. I particularly enjoy learning about the differences between other cultures and my own through multimedia.
| Keywords: english, japanese, computers, technology, contracts, software, localization, logistics, import, export, product specifications, documentation, novels
