Religion is the ladder through which one can reach the Almighty! Immorality throws the being into lower yonis (forms of birth); making him the inhabitant of hell; this has been expounded by our holy scriptures, incarnates, saints and prophets. We must carefully listen to what they say since our welfare truly lies in it. If we keep working within the confines of ego and attachment, we would not be able to achieve anything but grief. It would be extremely foolish to bear long lasting sorrow just for the sake of transitory pleasures. It is by God’s immense grace that we have got this human form; now, with all this if we do not achieve our goal or at least walk a few steps towards our goal, it would be too big a misfortune for us. Secondly, it is through His extreme blessings that we have also been granted the aegis of a ‘Poorna Guru’ (God Realized Guru). | Translation - Spanish LA HUMANIDAD: SUPREMA RELIGION
| English to Spanish: HUMILITY: RECOGNIZING WHO WE REALLY ARE General field: Other Detailed field: Religion | Source text - English Humility: Recognizing Who We Really Are
By Randy Alcorn About Humility
Romans 12:3 says, “Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment.” This is what humility is—it’s recognizing who we really are. What Scripture has to say about who we really are is not a great compliment. We’re sinners. Even before we were sinners, we were still small, finite beings, and we always will be.
But it’s okay to be small. What’s not okay is to be a sinner. But that’s the state that we’re in through our own choice. That’s our very nature. Yes, Scripture says we all sinned in Adam, but we are all sinners in our own lives.
Humility is recognizing our own unworthiness and the fact that I literally deserve to go to Hell for all eternity. If I come to grips with that, then I don’t have high expectations that everybody should celebrate how great I am, because I am not great.
Now, at the same time, we could go overboard with that and spend our whole lives thinking about what rotten people we are and not celebrate what Christ has done for us. In Christ, we are cleansed of our sin. Scripture says, “He has made him to be sin for us, he who knew no sin, that we may be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). In this same context, Romans 12 goes on to talk about each of us having spiritual gifts given to us from God to serve for the good of the body. There is the humility of service that comes from using our gifts, so we’re not celebrating these great gifts that we have, but instead we’re using them to honor Christ and to serve as He did. He’s the One who came not to be served, but to serve and to give His life a ransom for many.
Christ is our model of humility. Philippians 2 talks about how He lowered Himself. This is our privilege: to be humble servants of God. If you’re a servant of God, and somebody treats you like a servant once in a while, you don’t claim your rights and get indignant about the fact that you were treated like a servant. Hey, you’re called to be a servant! And it’s a high calling. Jesus was called to be a servant and has given us an example that we should follow in His footsteps.
When a great athlete does something admirable, but they’re the ones to rave on and on about their greatness, it doesn’t appeal to us or to God. That’s not humility; that’s pride. Pride pushes us away from God; humility draws us toward God. Humility puts us on God’s side, so to speak, where we agree with God about our true condition and our true need for Christ. Even as Christians, we need Christ today just as much as we did the day we came to faith in Christ. That’s something we should never forget.
| Translation - Spanish La Humildad: Reconociendo quienes somos en realidad

Greetings from Alaska,
As a professional translator who loves the craft, I regularly check job-opening posts seeking for new and interesting challenges. Your website drew my attention.
I was born in Buenos Aires, from Anglo/Argentine/Italian/Welsh parents, an am fluent in Spanish and English since early childhood. I graduated from a bi lingual British boarding school in BA and hold certificates from the Escuela de Idiomas de Madrid, Cambridge University Overseas Branch and a Fine Arts degree from Covenant Life College, BC.Canada where I majored in Voice Performance.
With over 20+ experience as an in house interpreter/translator and educator in various organizations, in the US, Spain, Argentina and the UK, I am able to tackle a variety of translation jobs as well as audio transcription/translation in both English and Spanish as needed. That said, I am presently involved in pro bono and remunerated work using my skill set. Working as a bilingual instructor, as well as business formal and casual translator between English-speaking and Spanish-speaking communities is something I particularly enjoy.
I have done many hours of live interpretation and translation in either language, mainly in the realm of independent church organizations. This is my particular interest and area of expertise. Thus, I have been in contact, through my work as an instructor and interpreter, with people from all walks of life, where being bi lingual in both languages has been a plus.
As a professional I strive to give my full attention to the project at hand, doing my research, looking up special terms, and not relying solely upon my CAT tools. My commitment is to you, and my aim is to maintain a professional and open relationship by working within your budget and time constraints. I believe you will find my rates to be reasonable and I am open to negotiation for a final quote, which is agreeable to both parties.
You can find my CV and work resume attached. Please do not hesitate in contacting me if you believe I would be an asset to your teamwork project. I would love to hear from you and am excited at the possibilities the future holds.
Sincerely
Silvia Griselda Buongiorne
