About me

Hello, I am Idayu Johari.  In 1991, I received a bachelor degree in Computer Science from Clarkson University, Potsdam NY, USA.  Since that time I have worked as a researcher, programmer, computer consultant, training coordinator and process subject matter expert in that order.  My first job as a researcher was the one that actually prepared me to become a freelance translator today.  I was a researcher with a Multi-lingual machine translation project.  My then managing director urged everyone involved in the project to take a Diploma in Translation to help us in our work.  Thus in 1993 I completed my Diploma in Translation and began my part-time endeavour in the translation industry.  Though I have changed job several times since then, the translation portion of my life remains constant.  After resigning from my 9-5 job it is only natural that freelance translation becomes my next career of choice.  So now here I am a full-time freelance translator offering my service to you.....
