Mi recai a casa sua a vedere i cani, mastini allora non ce ne erano, da questo momento in poi comincia a frequentare sempre più spesso la casa di Vincenzo, qualche volta si usciva a vedere cani, altre volte andavamo insieme in qualche esposizione cinofila , i nostri incontri si facevano sempre più frequenti.
Il primo approccio con il mastino lo fece Vincenzo in uno dei suoi giri mi racconta addirittura di aver visto un mastino di colore bianco, poi in seguito lui accoppio un dogo argentino (stella) con un mastino, da cui nacquero due cani di una bellezza unica avevano una stazza enorme e un energia stupenda, voglio solo dire che il maschio king ad occhio quando era in forma rasentava i 90 kg.
La svolta decisiva verso il mastino napoletano, fu una richiesta da parte di un amico di Vincevo, che viveva a Torino che gli chiese di acquistargli un mastino femmina, visto che le nostre zone erano luoghi dove si potevano reperire facilmente cuccioli di mastini.

I paid him a visit to have a look at his dogs, although he did not keep any Mastiffs at the time. My visits to Vincenzo’s house became more frequent, and we eventually started visiting dog shows and exhibitions together.
Of the two of us, Vincenzo was the first to show interest in Mastiffs. I remember him telling me that he had once seen a white Mastiff, and that he had mated an Argentine Dogo (Stella) with a Mastiff. The resulting litter consisted of two particularly beautiful dogs endowed with a solid build and stupendous energy; suffice it to say that the male, named King, could reach 90 kilograms when in top form.
A request from a friend, originally from Vincevo but residing in Turin, was the turning point in our forming a decided interest in the Neapolitan Mastiff. Knowing that Mastiff pups were easily obtainable in our areas, he asked Vincenzo to provide him with a Mastiff bitch.

The selling of the land, which had all been
requisitioned by the Order, was carried out by
specially appointed Commissioners. Land purchase
contracts were mainly signed before the notary
Placido Abela, in the presence of either engineer
Francesco Lapparelli or the architect Gerolamo
Cassar. Our investigations about sector number 65
have unearthed documents showing that on the 6th
October 1569, an area of the space was
purchased by Master Salvatore Attard. One of the
sides was still vacuum, vacant, since it had not yet

My experience in translation in the medical field is related to EU texts about technical cancer screening procedures, experimental medicine randomization study manuals, medical product information leaflets for patients and DNA sampling consent forms.
I am currently employed as a Translations Project Manager, handling Administration of Translation, Proofreading and Interpreting projects at Media Consulta International’s Malta-based translations hub, MC Translate. My duties include:
Correspondence with clients, Translators, Proofreaders and Interpreters.
Recruitment of Translators, Proofreaders and Interpreters.
I am also responsible for the final quality checking of MC Translate jobs processed in Maltese and Italian.
I was previously employed with a leading Maltese Publishing house. My main activities and responsibilities included:
Proof-reading, Copy-editing, Translations and duties of Public Relations Officer.
Preparation and Proofreading of books in the pre-publishing and pre-printing stages. Translation of texts published by the company and drawing up, processing and translations of press releases related to the company.
Handling of company's public relations and advertising in relation to new publications and commercial activities such as book fairs and cultural events related to the company’s activities.
I am very keen on the Arts in general, especially Literature, Poetry and Music. I am an avid reader of Italian, Maltese and English texts, and am very interested in Philology and the Etymology of words. I am also very interested in the study of Philosophy.
