I have been accredited as a professional translator from French into English by Australia's National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI).

I undertake projects both large and small and take pride in delivering quality work within a reasonable time-frame. Recent translation work has included a press release, a series of job descriptions, a French tourist website and general accounting procedures, as well as a range of documents for visa applicants (baccalaureate results, university diplomas and course descriptions, certificates of employment and criminal record checks).

English (UK) is my native language and my French is fluent, both written and spoken. I have a BA in French and Italian from the University of Durham and an MSc in Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics & Political Science. I am also a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, UK.

I have spent upwards of 8 years living and working in France including:
- 2.5 years in the Tourism and Leisure industry (chalets and hotels) in the French Alps
- 4.5 years in personnel administration and recruitment for a top management consulting firm in Paris
My professional experience also encompasses Real Estate, Financial Services, and Education.

My translation style is adaptable: I take care to stay close to the original text in legal documents, whereas I feel that there is scope for a touch of creativity in tourism and travel writing. Whatever the project, I place great importance on accuracy and efficiency.
