About me

Most of my 12 years experience has been in public relations, managing correspondence, administrative supported and trilingual translation. As an Iraqi/Italian woman, I have a very good command of Arabic, Italian and English. Most of my education (high school and university) has been in Arabic and English. Having an Italian Mother, made the Italian language easy to achieve, and to consolidate it I also studied it at the Italian Language institute and obtained the TELC certificate as I now have full command of Italian as well.
I had completed my high school and university education in Baghdad as I hold a B.Sc. Degree in Biology. However, I moved to the UAE, Abu Dhabi where I lived from 1996 through 2001. I worked for two years in academic institutions and three at the Italian Embassy)defence attache's Office).
I moved to Italy in 2001 where I now have permanent residence. I have worked primarily in two diplomatic missions (UAE and currently at the Iraqi embassy).
In addition to my extensive experience in working with government institutions and diplomatic missions, I also did free lance translation consultancies with the Italian Ministry of Defence in Rome during the missions of visiting high ranking officials from the Saudi and Libyan governments during their official meetings.

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
