My Work Experience:

I have been working as a In-house Translator and Freelance Translator for more than 20 years .
I have an extensive and varied experience in translation, because I have worked as a in-house translator for many different companies: a multinational cosmetics company, an insurance company, an American advertising agency, a leading manufacturer of cables and cable assemblies.

For 10 years I worked as a Lead Translator and Communications Officer for an important multinational cosmetics company in Milan. This experience has given me in depth expertise in this sector, as well as in copywriting and translation of advertising & editorial material, video scripts, website content, leaflets and brochures.

I was born in Taranto (south of Italy), I studied in England for 1 year and then in Trieste (Italy). I lived and worked in Milan from January 1984 to April 2009. I have recently relocated to England for family reasons.

My job has always been my main hobby too. I translate because I like to write and I like languages. When I translate, I always do my best to render the meaning and preserve the style of the source text, as well as to produce translations that appear to have originally been written in the target language.
